About the Club
Established in 1896, Toowoomba Golf Club, offers a unique blend of rich traditions and natural elegance the envy of newer Clubs. Located on the escarpment of the Great Dividing Range, Toowoomba Golf Club, mixes a famous golfing destination with the youthful and vibrant Ridges Bar & Bistro.
The course layout is set amongst tall gums and pines and is idyllic for a golfing adventure. Locals often refer to “Middle Ridge” as a course for a lifetime. Rolling tree lined kikuyu fairways lead to arguably the truest manicured Pentcross Bent greens on the Darling Downs. Post round it is easy to find yourself spending a couple of hours too many relaxing with your playing partners on the clubhouse deck at Ridges Bar & Bistro reliving the highlights of the round.
The Par 72 course measuring 5950 meters (6507 yards) requires strategic play rather than brute strength alone and is famous for rewarding adventurous play. In addition the warmth, camaraderie and friendship of the membership is complimented by its standing in the local community as the Golf Course to hold your Charity Golf event.
Our Chefs can prepare a menu to suit any occasion and the Club offers a variety of spaces to host a family gathering, business seminar or even your special moment. Alternatively all are welcome to come for a quiet drink while enjoying the views from Ridges Bar & Bistro’s open plan deck overlooking the 18th hole.
